If you have been following along so far I have recommended that for a basic computer you should go with the option of having a video card on the motherboard.  If you are planning a gaming computer or advanced graphics rendering then you will require a little more powerful video device for your computer.  Be sure to refer to your motherboard specifications when picking out a video card especially the adapter that is on your motherboard.  The current selections for video cards are:

• AGP
• PCI-X
• PCI Express

With the increasing technology I would recommend that the PCI-Express is the best choice for advanced computer builds.
