Pop ups Interfere with Surfing

The idea behind popups is not so bad. To give a visitor to your site an advertisement about a product or service that you support. This helps the website owner to generate some revenue so that they may continue to provide the information that you visited the site for to begin with.

What it has become is a nightmare. With some sites sending multiple popups and popunders that you can't even see the information that you came for. For that reason alone I block them on my computer. Windows has a good blocker built in but for those that get around that and there are quite a few I recommend the google toolbar with the popup blocker enabled.
