To Many Documents in the My Documents Folder

Here is a tip about the My Documents folder. When your computer first starts it makes an index of the My Documents folder. The size of this folder is in direct relation to the time it takes to index this folder and continue starting windows.

I always recommend to move your documents to a different area of your hard drive when you begin to notice performance problems during start up. You might even move this file as a preemptive strike against ever having this kind of problem. The remedy is as easy as creating a new folder on the C: drive on your computer and naming it something like ( folder for documents) or anything that you desire. Then open your My Documents folder and select all the files and right click then cut. Return to the folder that you created and right click and then paste. You will have to wait a few minutes while all the files are copied and then it will be finished.
